Family Experience Photography Workshops.
This is not a workshop to help you photograph families (but if you want to try a bit of environmental portraiture I’m sure we could fit it in). This is a workshop to get families out taking photographs and learning together. You could be single mum / dad with a burning desire to get out and learn about photography, have a child embarking on a GCSE, or your just looking for a new family hobby.
Photography is a great way to spend time together. A healthy pastime that teaches your children about the outdoors and the environment. It also sharpens the senses it gets them to look and actually see the details in the landscape around them.
I’m now in a fortunate position to be able to offer two camera bodies that can be borrowed by children or adults during the workshop, both are full spec DSLR’s and can be used in full manual or auto depending on age, ability and what the family would like to get from the workshop.
“Note: Digital SLR’s are best suited to older children ( 10+ ) smaller children may struggle with the size of the camera, it is perfectly acceptable if you wish to bring smaller compact cameras for them to use”
Family experience workshops are best saved for good weather, so my dates are flexible and if bad weather is forecast we can arrange another date.
What do I cover?
This is supposed to be fun! Of course it goes without saying that you have full access to me during the day and I will help you get the best out of the locations, and maybe learn something new.
If you are looking for something more serious then check out my I can arrange a huge discount for a family based traditional workshop.
All children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of the child during the workshop.Images taken during the workshop on borrowed cameras will be uploaded to a secure file ready for you to download, or can be supplied to you on USB memory stick at additional cost.
