Lectures & Club Talks
I know a thing or two about camera clubs. My most memorable evenings have always been when I left feeling inspired, my creativity given a little boost, my passion rejuvenated. I still get that same buzz when I can see I have a made a little impact on the audience.

Its never easy filling your club program, a daunting task for the program secretary and committee - it doesn’t matter if you are representing a photography club or trying to fill evening slots at the local village hall. I know, I’ve served on committees and have been part of the process.
Selecting a photography judge or lecturer for your camera club is not as simple as it sounds. You need to find the right match for your club. To make it easy for you there is a lot of information on this page. If you need more check out Youtube and social media, and of course - just contact me.
I have a range of talks available, that I would be delighted to present, and hopefully start a long relationship delivering a range of talks, judging competitions and running workshops at highly discounted rates for club members.
What The Audience Said
"Brian Northmore treated us to the first airing of his “On Dartmoor” a fascinating and inspiring talk on the moorland landscape. Via Brian’s photographs, we travelled to some of the remoter areas of the moor, as well as more familiar spots. I am sure from your comments that I am not the only one to be inspired to visit the moor as soon as possible after lockdown is lifted. It was refreshing to hear of Brian’s contemplative approach to the landscape, with advice to take the time to allow the compositions and light to come to you, rather than trying to rush things. Look contemplate and look again and enjoy the moment. A great presentation – thanks, Brian”

“Wow, what a brilliant evening you provided for us. Your talk was spot on the money for our club, as we have a wide range of skills and interests represented across our membership. I was inspired to try more monochrome photography as a result - not something I normally consider. Your content and delivery were also appreciated and I heard many positive comments during several discussions after the meeting Thanks again and enjoy your cups of coffee.”

On Dartmoor
What Is Photography, what is it too you, what influences you, and where is your photography going? In this lecture, which I must was challenging to put together I try and answer these questions about my photography. Visiting challenging and pivotal moments in my time behind the camera lens. And asking what is next?
It Is What It IS (NEW FOR 2025 !)
